That was extremely quick! 2016 seems to have come and gone in a flash. It seems like just yesterday l was reflecting on 2015 and our plans for the new year. Here l am again with a wrap-up of our fun and travel filled year. We have enjoyed sharing the year with you and hope to keep on doing that in the new year. By my calculation, the longest we stayed at home in Seville at any one time was three weeks and our longest trip was 33 days! We couldn’t have done it without the absolutely wonderful pet sitters we found through my favorite company, Housesitmatch. I highly recommend them to any homeowner, and nope.. I am not being paid to say that, just a grateful client 🙂 .

Drottingholm Palace In Stockholm: It’s Good To Be King
Updated:
Drottingholm palace in Stockholm is the official private residence of the Swedish royal family. This stunning beauty is located on an island called Lovon. Prior to 1981, it was only used as the royal summer residence. We saw the other palace in Stockholm and that was already impressive. That is now being used for official government business. It is also a popular tourist destination.
The Drottingholm palace surely offers more privacy. The fact that the grounds are massive and utterly gorgeous would be appealing to me. We decided to visit the palace on the last of ten days spent in Stockholm. I am so glad we did as it was worth every penny.

Postcard from Stockholm, Sweden

Greetings from Stockholm, the capital of Scandinavia! We have been enjoying ourselves in this absolutely beautiful city for the past week or so. I have so much to tell you in the next few posts, but for now, this lovely postcard from Stockholm will have to do :-). We left Seville about 10 days ago. Our first stop was to Madrid, one of our favorite cities ever. Our visit was only for one day, but we managed to cram lots of sightseeing into that day.
