When in Rome – act like a tourist and see everything you can is my advice. This time around, after spending time with Federico’s family, it was time to do more of the ancient Rome tours. Our Roman history tour was a combination walking tour covering the Colosseum Underground, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum and it was complimentary, courtesy of The Roman Guy. If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram, you know that we are in the Kingdom of Ramses, all 11 of them! What a fabulous country Egypt is turning out to be. Another place I was sure I would like, and l am proving myself right. I am somewhat surprised that Federico likes it too (he is already plotting a return!). Definitely an impulsive decision to visit. Warm Greetings From Verona Italy!
Happy New Year everyone! We are currently in Verona, home to the forever romantic couple of young lovers Romeo and Juliet. Prior to Verona, we were enjoying Rome with Federico’s family. Just like in Spain, the holiday celebration is on January 6 (along with Christmas Eve) and it was fun being with the kids, but l have to admit, I am happy to be away from them.
Year End Next Bite Of Life Review (Grading 2018)
I can’t even begin to tell you how fast l felt 2018 flew by. It’s not just me either, I hear the same things from friends across all age groups. Our grades for last year seems so fresh in mind, like l just wrote that post a few days ago. Reading that post, I’m glad that we improved on a couple of things.
