Nicole has been an ex-pat in Oman for six years and counting, and she is the interviewee for this week as we discuss life in the Muslim country and some of the reasons why she left the states over ten years ago, if she can ever picture herself moving back to America to settle, or if life outside the states suits her better. I refer to Jeanette as a resilient expat because she has definitely been through a lot during her years abroad, both good and bad. She refuses to let anything get in the way of her search for happiness and a place to call home. She is certainly not shy about her strong feelings so apologies in advance for the salty language, but sometimes it’s nice to hear the flip side of everything being rosy all the time.
